Filter Pads

Filter Pads
This organic gunk breaks down and contributes to ammonia and nitrate in the water, stressing your fish and feeding unwanted algae. A good filter pad catches the debris and waste so you can remove it before it breaks down. Our filter pads are made of polyester fibers loosely woven and bonded together.
Construction
Filter pads are essentially pre-cut filter media in the form of circular or rectangular pads. Like filter cloth, they are made from materials such as cellulose, paper, or synthetic fibers.
Usage
These filter pads are placed between the horizontal plates or discs in the sparkler filter press. When the liquid passes through the filter press, the filter pads capture particles, resulting in clarified filtrate.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential for filter pads. Depending on the nature of the filtered material, filter media may need to be replaced or cleaned periodically to maintain filtration efficiency.
Applications
Filter pads are commonly used in the beverage industry for filtering wine, beer, and other beverages. They are also utilized in pharmaceutical and chemical processing.
